Sometimes we need to wait. We need to slow down, process what is going on around us, and wait for an answer from God. If you have ever felt anxious, try speaking to God about your worries and ask Him to bring you patience.
Often, worrying is grounded in fear of the unknown. Unknowns are typically answers that haven’t been found, most likely due to lack of time or understanding, because of impatience. Romans 12:12 tells us to be patient in our troubles and to constantly pray. Perhaps what you want the most but haven’t received is God’s way of reminding you to rely on Him. God has perfect timing and all wisdom. I am confident He knows exactly what you need and how much you need it.
The next time you are in a rush to get out the door, but you’re waiting on a loved one to catch up, remember that God is giving you a great opportunity to practice patience and love. Although we have nothing to prove to God, because our salvation is not works based, He will still appreciate the application of His principle.
